I had an amazing stay at Playa Pikua Ecolodge. From the moment I arrived, the staff took care of my every need. the driver, José, provided excellent transportation and served as a knowledgeable tour guide. the beach huts were clean and comfortable, and the beach itself was even more stunning than the pictures. the owners, Oscar and Martha, were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. I also loved the open shower and the strong Colombian coffee made with a Bilaletti espresso maker. it was a perfect getaway to enjoy nature and relax by the beautiful beach. Cons: Everything was great! 😊.

The location of this beachfront ecolodge is stunning, with a beautiful and almost secluded beach just steps away. the bungalows are tastefully designed with lots of wood and bamboo, providing an authentic and cozy atmosphere. the friendly owners go the extra mile to ensure guests' comfort, offering daily fruit treats and serving delicious meals on the porch. the minibar is well stocked at reasonable prices, and the breakfast is amazing.
Some neighboring hostels don't have much consideration for their guests, as one reviewer mentioned a loud karaoke party until 2 am that made it impossible to sleep.

We had a wonderful time at this charming beachfront retreat. From the warm welcome to the refreshing welcome drink, the owners made us feel right at home. Our bungalow, with its beautiful wooden furnishings, was just a few steps away from the soothing waves of the sea. The beach offered plenty of comfy sunbeds and hammocks for relaxation. Breakfast on our terrace was a delight, and the option to choose our personalized meal made it even more enjoyable. The communication with Martha and Oskar was seamless, and they were always ready to assist. Without a doubt, this is the perfect place to unwind and savor the beach life.
Can recommend this hotel.

We stayed at a peaceful lodge with beautiful bungalows nestled in a natural setting, offering a tropical paradise experience. the breakfast included fresh fruit, juices, oats with almond and raisins, as well as fresh eggs and coffee. the lodge provided a mini-bar fridge stocked with low-cost beer and soft drinks. the staff were attentive, even bringing fresh popcorn and providing excellent service. We enjoyed ordering delicious paella and fish from local fishermen for dinner. the lodge also arranged for activities like tubing down the river.
Occasional noise from neighboring music.

Our stay in Colombia was already amazing, but this hotel was the perfect ending to our journey. Moni and Jupi were exceptional hosts, making us feel welcome and ensuring we had an unforgettable experience. The view from our room overlooking Playa Pikua was breathtaking, and the peaceful sounds of the ocean lulled us to sleep each night. Moni's breakfasts and optional handmade dinners were exceptional, offering a delicious variety of cuisine. The remote location was a welcome escape, and the opportunity to see whales up close was a truly special experience. The cabins were beautifully decorated, comfortable, and impeccably clean. We were surrounded by palm trees and woke up to the sweet melodies of birds. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. This is truly the best accommodation we've experienced in Colombia.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

We had a fantastic time at this beachfront ecolodge. the beautiful coconut grove setting provided a stunning backdrop for our stay. the staff were attentive and accommodating, ensuring our needs were met. the breakfast served on our private veranda was delicious, and the sound of the waves every night created a relaxing atmosphere. the clean cabanas and hammocks on the front porch added to the comfortable experience.
There were some noisy guests on a couple of nights that disrupted the otherwise peaceful atmosphere.

Our stay at Playa Pikua Ecolodge was simply amazing. The cabin we stayed in was even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. The cozy porch where they served our breakfast and dinner added to the intimate and romantic atmosphere. Being right on the beach provided a perfect balance of privacy and access to the shore. We loved having our own private beach area with complimentary use of the beds. Plus, the minibar's free soft drinks were a pleasant surprise. The comfortable bed, small kitchen, and clean bathroom made our stay even more enjoyable. And for those looking to eat out, there were some great nearby options, including vegetarian choices.

The location of this eco-lodge is absolutely breathtaking, with the beach just steps away. the beach huts were clean and comfortable, and the service provided by the staff was exceptional. I especially loved the fact that the food, prepared by local fishermen and women, was delicious. the pargo frito and arroz con mariscos were simply amazing. the staff was also very helpful in organizing activities and providing knowledgeable local guides.
it can get a little hot in the cabins at night under the mosquito net. It would have been great to have a ceiling fan to keep the air moving.

We had an excellent stay at this Ecolodge. The location was perfect, right on the beautiful beach which was empty in the mornings. The room was basic but nice and clean, with our own bathroom and a lovely decking area. The breakfast served on the outside decking was a nice touch, with options like eggs and fruit. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the cabin itself was beautiful and romantic. It even looked better in real life than in the pictures. We enjoyed having our own private area on the beach and being able to use the free beds provided.

The location is excellent, with a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. I loved sitting on the beach, listening to the waves and feeling the ocean breeze. The owners were incredibly attentive and always available to assist with any needs. They even offered coconut water and fruits throughout the day, adding a refreshing touch to my stay. The lodge is also eco-friendly, which is a big plus for me. Additionally, the fresh fish and seafood prepared by local fishermen were delicious and delivered right to my bungalow. The beach massages were a wonderful indulgence. I returned home feeling completely rested and rejuvenated. I will definitely be back!
While my stay at Playa Pikua Ecolodge was amazing, there were a few drawbacks to note. it would have been helpful to have bug repellent available in the rooms to keep those pesky mosquitos away.
